Allana Buick & Bers was retained by BioMed Realty (BMR) to provide design development and construction monitoring services for the parking structure located at 201 Elliott Street in Seattle Washington.

The Parking structure is a 12,500 square foot surface parking structure, which was coated in 2009 with a waterproof coating. The coating is prematurely failing and in need of replacement. In addition to coating the surface lot, additional drainage is needed in some areas to resolve current ponding issues.

Allana Buick & Bers conducted an on-site investigation and assessment of failed waterproof coating and ponding areas with limited space for construction staging. Allana Buick & Bers prepared technical specifications and provided design development services for remedial repairs.

Allana Buick & Bers generated technical documents for bid phase services and provided various construction administration services.

During the next phase of the project, Allana Buick & Bers is retained to provide construction management services.
